have a 06 bu V-ride and my wedge came apart. I have read that bu will replace it with a polished one is that correct. I have not made it to my dealer which is 4 hours away. Also have read to try and upgrade to the floating design. What is the pros and cons of each. Any suggestions appreciated.

I already replied to your other post, but the polished wedge is only cosmetically different then the one that came with your boat. Your dealer will not just give you the polished one, you will most likely have to pay to upgrade to it. If you are already going to pay to upgrade, you might as well get the FF wedge...

Patrick, ya just trying to get a wider opinion on the difference between the floating and standard wedge. No one seems to be able to explain what the benefit is between the two.

cause the FF wedge is so new and virtually no one has switched out a manual wedge for a FF wedge on your hull. Although my friend will be doing it next month on his 03 VLX
