Would it be dangerous to wakeboard tomorrow? its going to be 40+ and sunny and I'm guessin water temp will be near 40 (hopefully). I'm gonna wear a wetsuit and everythign and just take a short set I was just making sure I won't die. I wanna do it just to say I did it.

nope, I'm From Grand Rapids and went winching last Saturday 12/16/06 at my lake and I'm still here. Of course I started off land and fell 10 feet from shore. I used a drysuit and some closed toe Ronix Cell boots and it did the trick. I did however run quickly to a near by hot shower.

Hey from K'zoo. Beautiful day today. I was thinking about putting the snowmobile in storage and getting the boat out. Go dry suit if you can. That cold water starts to seep into the wetsuit really fast! If it stays like this we should be thinking about a XMAS day ride!

Greg go for it man! Here in MI I can't stand looking out the window to the lake and seeing the super still butter and knowing its in the 40's/50's and sunny, and the boat being put away up north for the season. Heck in the middle of summer we hit the lake at 6:30 in the morning and the air isn't more than 55 degrees.

I'm in for a Christmas ride.

I'll be home then...find a boat and give me a time, place, and date...and I'll bring gas money.

Its ok to go when the water and air is in the 40's. Well it might not be ok but me and a few friends did it in april the last 2 years when it wasnt any warmer then that.

I'm in! I did see a Malibu with wakeboards on the racks in someone's driveway on Duncan Lake (Nofke Drive) this weekend. Let me know if there's a boat available. I'll bring gas money as well!!

So where are we on this??

I see our options as:
1) drive to Boston and ride with Jaysus
2) Find John on Duncan lake and ride with him.

Does anyone know John?

If anyone is willing to wait until right after the new year, I'll take up to 10 people out
(Kalamazoo)
(Provided there's water)

I'm definitely interested in X-mas day if it happens. I would also be interested in right after the new year -- if everything's not frozen over and if I can swing it with my work schedule.

Unfortunately, I would not be able to drive to Boston. Although, if I didn't have to work the day before and after Christmas, I would definitely make the drive!
