I am looking to add just a little more bass and I was wonder if a 50 watt or the 100 watt Bazooka tube would be a good option. Price is good and it is self powered. It will be in the side of my boat. Thanks

How good is the price ? These tubes will never sound anywhere near as good as a sub/box and seperate amp.

Hello, it's the 10. I had one in my Cherokee and it sounded great but this is not a SUV that is enclosed.

I used to work at abc warehouse back in the day about 5 years ago, they had them there and they sounded just plain horrible. But i'm sure they have improved them since then. I would just go with a cheaper speaker and amp setup, the kenwood stuff is good for the price these days.

If you have used them before and are happy with the sound, I say go for it ! At $75 you cant go wrong especially since your already fimilar with them.

Most if not all factory installd boat subs are free-air ! No box=big difference.

For $75 bucks you'll have 75$ sound,if your happy with that, that's a good deal.

Edit
now if you had around $300 you could have some real nice sound.

I have the 8'' in my boat and for 50.00 bucks that I spent it sounds great. Now compared to my L7 scratch that it doesn't compare. I am happy with it until I can afford to buy high end.
Do it

KG,

Nautique factory subs are mounted in an enclosure in the port side mid storage, and I would agree they don't sound very good.

sounds great in my boat!! It is not going to rock the world or anything, but for 75 bones you should be happy.

that's cool. Do you "feel" the bass since it is Suspended in the air?

wouldnt that vibrate the crap out of ur tower?

yes and no..it does a good job of projecting the bass out..whoever is sitting in the rear seats you cant hear talk even at low levels..ha..and it doesnt vibrate the tower
