Well I am 35 and I spend alot of time here. I thought I had to share since I was sitting in my office still thinking about last night.
Been out alot this summer trying like hell to get accross the wake. Been at 70' and just couldn't get it. So my 8 year old threw her skiis on before I got to take a set and she wanted the rope shorter. So not thinking just threw it at 65 and went. She had a blast, then I jump back and throw on my board, wife jumps in seat we set the computer and I jump in. (forgetting to change the rope back to 70')
Get out there and start my routine of trying to get over. First one I land middle of board on lip and thought....whoa...... I got this tonight.... Then try second time....land over....Was awesome. Now I know it was short at 65' but I was sooooo happy. Was a bit bummed getting into the boat and seeing my rope hanging there short but thought heck with it...that is where I am riding for a while cuz that was FUN! Just thought I would share the stoke.
Wife was yelling, have 4 kids under 8 years old all yelling at ole Dad cuz my smile was most likely just plastered on my face. Was the perfect night! Dad got accross, 8 year old got to surf and ski and my 6 year old he jumped off a cliff (which for him is HUGE!!) Just had one of those nights to remember with the family. Can't wait to go back out!
Would love to hear stories of yours on anything your stoked about. Right now I am smiling still from ear to ear on the jumps and the night as a whole!
Take Care Ride Safe!
