I am going to build a slider before summer starts. Does anybody know what would be a good length? How wide should it be? Where can I get plans on a slider? Any advice would be nice.

Run down through the topics and look for another post about a slider. I threw up some tips there for what to do, they were kind of vague, but here's a slider that was built on my lake at one point. It's definitely really big for a first slider to build. The up ramp is also way too steep for starting out, and it acted a lot like a kicker, so the guys I know that were hitting it were absorbing it with their knees a LOT. Other than that, take a look at it. Find that other thread with the tips i posted and you should have a relatively solid idea as to what needs to be done.
