Ebbtide Boat

Hey everyone,
I have a 2004 Ebbtide boat that we use wakeboarding. My friend has a malibu, but his kids like to use my boat cause of the wake. Do any of you have this type of simular situation. It is worth installing a tower on a non traditional type ski boat?

A couple of years back I wakeboarded behind a friend's ebtide(no idea on model, year, etc.) and I was really surprised at how much I liked the wake. I wouldn't compare it to my nuatique wake, but if I was going for an IO thats one of the first boats I would look at....I was pretty impressed.

If you like the boat and the wake and plan on keeping it for a while, I would put one on it.

If you HAVE to keep it and the wake is nice, then slap tower on and ride it. Seems like an easy decision.

A tower adds more then just raising the tow point of the rope. Tower mounted racks are great for getting wakeboards out of the way in the boat or hogging up storage space. Also a great place to put a couple of speakers. I would put a tower on it for sure.

Ebbtide is a damm good boat. I hade one yeaars ago and they handle very well. Put a tower and racks and be happy and save yourself a bunch of $.

We rode behind a 2003 ebtide before we got our ski nauique.The wake was actually really nice for an I/O or any boat for that matter. The wake was massive even without any extra weight being that the boat is bigger and heavier than an x-star to begin with. It also had a pretty good shape for an I/O. My dad got tired of me constatly using his boat so we ended up getting a wake spefic boat.
