Would this work? If I tee into the raw water intake, would that be enough pressure to be considered "flooded"? Also, would this pump be reversible?

If the pump is under the water line it would provide enough head to prime the pump. Wouldn't be reversable, also 14 amp draw is a little high? I think my 1100 rule only pulls 4-5 amps. And my 750s 3-4 amps. $160 bucks is a little high for a 1200 gph pump.

looks like a damn nice pump to me. I have the amps, bring it on! I have had great luck with the RULE 1100 myself.
