My boy is 13 weight 90lbs/4'11 he is starting to get the bug and will need his own board he is just a beg. So what board would you guys recommend?? He is paying for it out of his own pocket, I believe in kids learnignthe value of money! (I will double what he has saved/earned)

He could ride the Motive 135, but I would go with something smaller. Look for a board in the 120's or low 130's. Hyperlite makes boards in the 119-130 range for smaller riders. So do other companies. Check out the WW board guide. http://www.wakeworld.com/BoardGuide/

O'Brien makes the Vision in a 121 for 2005. This is a multi fin board with continuous rocker and beveled edges, perfect for someone just starting out, and obviously a board that can be ridden at the highest levels, just look and J Sanders.

I'd strongly recommend the Hyperlite Motive. I learned on that board and used it for about 3 years. I would also consider buying him the 135, to give him a little room for growth.
