I just did my first short movie in windows movie maker (the only thing I have). The software only lets you save the file as a movie maker file. how do I make the file play in windows media player?

oh god the backroll.... not even close.
trying to post the video (too funny)

I figured out how to save it as an avi file... but the file is over 300mb. Now I need to know how I can compress it to upload it to the web.

Anyone?

Thanks Joe. I did exactly that and got my first video up and running. Kinda cheesy but it was fun to make.
