Just purchased a 2007 210 Air Nautique over the weekend. It has stock 900lbs of ballast in the back and belly. Looking to put a fly high bow sack in. How is everyone weighting there 210's? How are you plumbing?

Im running 400lbs sacks in each locker on-top of the factory ballast & another 400lb in the bow. So that's 1200 after the 900 internal & the wake is money already.
When I only have 2 other peeps on the boat, Ill run another 400 on the floor in front of the rear bench, or a 750.

Check out wakemakers, they have some kits here that allow you to piggyback off the existing setup to increase the weight without a lot of hassle.

That is one of the easiest ways to get it setup, just buy what kit you want and buy what bags you want and go.

I have skylon fat buddies. They fill up perfect to the top, but still give you the down slope area to store things(life jackets, bags, etc).
Not plummed, still filling them manually.

Thanks everyone! I called wakemakers and looks like I will be getting the 400lbs for the lockers and the 700lbs bow ballast from them.

I recommend you take out the tanks. That was the first and best thing I did when I bought my boat in 2007. There are a lot of threads on here and on Planetnautique about this. The tanks do nothing but take up space at all times whereas the sacs shrink down when empty for more space. Put in 750s.

^^ 100% agree, mines older, but I did the same thing. The tanks just don't hold very much and when you take them out you can really get the room needed to run the weight you want.

I've played with a lot of weight with my boat, moving it around everywhere and this is what I finally settled on. You obviously have the newer style hull and having experience with that too, this configuration would work very well. If you end up pulling tanks, don't get 400's from wakemakers, get 750s for the rear.

Rear compartments- 750's
Front of seat- 400lbs
locker- 400-500lbs
bow- 400lbs (I had a 1000 in the bow but took it out as this gave me a little more lip which I prefer, if you want more ramp, go with 700-1000 in the bow.

^^^Sheeesh! Post some pics of that wake! I have a 2002 SAN. I like to keep it simple. Stock hard tanks in the back and in the front locker (840 lbs). Then I add a 350lb sac on the floor in front of the back seat, and another 350lbs across the front seat. Total: 1540 lbs. = Great wake with decent gallon/hour consumption.

beauty of the 210 is you don't need 4K for a Sik wake.

That is true, but 2500-3000 lbs. sure is nice. wakedaveup has it dialed as far as weight configuration, though I personally prefer 800 lbs. or so up front.

Haha hey man sometimes simple is way less of a headache. The crazy part is that I have pictures of my wake with that weight plus some. It doesn't look overly big at all, but it's like concrete and that's the key for me. You don't need the biggest wake in the world but when it's firm versus mushy that's what can give you that solid boot off the wake.

Thanks man and I honestly go back and forth on bow weight preference. Lately I've just been having fun with this set up. For me the bigger wake makes me more confident. Some of my worst falls were under rotating or not getting all the way around and taking an edge. I think there's a point in wakeboarding you start to master "falling" haha. WIth the bigger wake even if I come off wrong I have that time to prepare for a fall. It's not for everybody, but it's really fun

I have a 2012, so my configuration is slightly different, but the hull is the same. I have the 750s on top of the hard tanks plumbed off the hard tank overflows and the bow sack under the front seats plumbed off of the center tank overflow.

The 750s do not fill all the way, but they are close. The front bow sack (u-shaped under the seats) does not fill all the way either. So I'm gonna say of the 3k of ballast, I can only get about 2600 full. The wake is awesome.

Lmao Dave I was just talking to a buddy wanting to get into wakeboarding the other day and told him the exact same thing, after a while you just learn to crash more gracefully somehow.

I have the older 210 hull (2006 and before) but our setup was:

Rear - 1000 lbs (500 on each side of the engine) - larger "v-drive sacs"

Mid - 600 lbs - Fly high pro-x fat seat bottom in ski locker

front - ~600-700 lbs - fly high pro-x triangle bow sac under the playpen seating .... can't fill 100% so I would guess about 600 lbs.

.... we also have two 50 lb lead bricks to move to offset people weight if needed
About 2200 lbs in water + people, wake is awesome and it doesn't suck gas like crazy

I thought we were ridiculously low on floor space with 1500lbs on the floor of a direct drive, but that doesn't compare to stock ballast + the entire floor taken up with sacks on those V-Drives! Wow, I'm surprised the boat even was able to move after all that weight in those pics.

That's why those old 210s are beasts! Keep loading them up and it keeps getting better. They definitely like the nose weight. I run about 2500 to 3000 in mine depending on how crazy we are getting and still plane fine.

GT40 and the Acme 644. There is another upgrade available through Acme now, just not sure on the numbers. My buddy has it and his planes much quicker loaded up, but the 644 pulls fine for me 90% of the time.

Dave- you running jabsco or aerator pumps in the rear lockers?

Brichter- I have the acme 1578 with the gt40 motor. Upgraded from the 644... Seems to be a really good prop

Hey Connor they're reversible Jabsco. Total of 3, 2 run the rear lockers, and 1 for the belly. The belly pump has about 3 ft of additional hose so I can actually pull it out of the locker and fill other bags if needed.
