how long have you been running the amsteel rope.
this may sound like a dumb ? but do you think the rope like that will last. or does it not wear that bad?

thats a pretty good price on that spectra line. should work fine. i still use the same spectra line i bought in 98 on my boat. changed handles a few times, but havent found a reason to swap mainlines.

I'm running 600' on mine but I'm planning on adding another 200' just for the hell of it . . . Was anyone else shocked at how small the amsteel was when you go it ? I mean I know it says 7/64" but damn
