From what I understand the basic difference between perfect pass and cruise control is perfect pass has the ability to program in different riders or activities such as sufring, wakeboarding ballast empty, ballast full etc. The cruise seemed to do a fine job to me it just does not have the ability to have multiple setting programed and remembered. hope that helps.

I am assuming the X-15 has the same speed control as our 06 X-30. If it does it does not have the ability to program multiple settings.

And it works fine by me, I use Speed rather than RPM as well.

ok cool... another thing was is it needed to buy the extra tower speakers it comes with 2 JL 6 1/2 i was wondering if you can hear them good when riding or do we need two more

I assume the MC speakers on the X-15 are the same as the X-Star. If so, go with 4 - its allot easier to hear them while riding.

2 will do of course, but its nicer to have a bit more meat on the bone.

I have four and I think that is probably the bare minumum to have in order to hear them while riding but i could be wrong.

If you are just negotiating then the dealer should easily be able to throw in two more.

I picked up my X-15 two weeks ago. I ordered it with the regular cruise but it came with perfect pass which was fine with me. the extra features are nice but I didn't think they were worth the extra cost over the standard cruise.

You can hear two behind the boat somewhat decently... thats what we have on our X1.

I have no complaints about the MC Cruise, It does what its supposed to do.

We got 4 on ours and can hear them behind the boat.

Perfect pass give you more overide control, but that doesn't mean it will work beter. I personally like the MC system better, but I hear it don;t work good on all of their boats.
