Looks like you Downsized.

Did you not have 2 LSV's before.
How does the LSV wake compared to the VLX.

I did downsize last year. My '07 was a VLX and now an '08. Both wakes are nice. My kids like the VLX wake a little better than our '06 LSV. I was planning on going back to the LSV in '08, but after having the VLX for a while it was hard to go back. Especially, with all the changes to the LSV. I hope to get a chance to try one out before considering the LSV.

I try to keep them 1-2 years. I just got caught up in a couple situations that caused me to have 3 this year. I had the '06 LSV up forsale wanting to get the new '08 LSV. It sold at the beginning of the summer so I took a VLX the dealer had on the lot. After a few months, I had a guy stop me on the water wanting to buy that boat. So, 2 weeks later he showed up with money.

Nice looking boat. It looks like the '07 and '08 graphic are the same except for the emblem. Is your graphic 2 pieces?

I did get the bow ballast. Wouldn't have a VLX without it. Why did you think I didn't?

sorry larry, i should have known you had it. the only reason i asked was because in the pic above there are only 3 ports by the driver on the side of the hull, i think its different now on the 08 than the past model years where there are 4 ports. so it looks like they have rerouted some of the plumbing for 08. i just noticed you have 3 in the back and 3 in the front. where my 07 is 4 in the front and 2 in the back. you learn something new every day. beautiful boat. oh ya, mine is just a single graphic, is yours 2 piece? That's funny about the ballast. My wife was looking at the production pictures before I took delivery and the call to ask the same question. "Why don't we have bow ballast?". She thought she say air under the bow cushion and not the carpet wall. Man was I worried that the order had gotten screwed up!!!

Not sure about the graphics... I was asking because several had mentioned they want to do the '08 graphic but leave out the emblem. That would then look just like the '07 I think.

Bryan, the Tennessee factory has put the two exits out the opposite side since it became an option but California has put all 4 on the drivers side.

thanks for clearing that up chris. i wonder if there are other small things like this that differ from east to west.

larry, not sure if im right on this but i think my graphic was part of the whole silver aniversery thing then it turned into the "core" graphic witch evolved into your 08 graphic. im sure they have 07 graphics left for requests. but yours is growing on me.

Actually, the Silver Aniversery graphic they used on several of the special addition boats was different than yours. I think that the '07 and '08 are the same except for the emblem. I am going to look at mine this weekend to see if it could be applied with out the emblem. Not that I would. I also like the '08 just like it is. I'm just curious for those that don't.

The sliver edition graphic was in fact the same font but was only available in the black and silver color. You cannot order that decal or any other silver edition special products without having a hull number that matches. The core graphic was avail. for all boats.

that makes more scenes to me. because on my order it does say "core" graphic. it gets alot of comments on the water. so are there other options for 08? is larry's and d.williams's still called a core graphic?

No other options this is the only graphic. Last year they had the core, grunge, and the standard flame wakesetter graphic, but you are looking at 08's only graphic.

Bryan, I know why you didn't go with black on hull but hommie you should have. Lying on your back with babes is worth it. Just crashin' hommie the new ride looks tight!
