I am trying to figure out the total weight of this package roughly. I'm looking at new trucks and don't have the boat at home right now nor do I have a trucking scale near by. I am just curius the rough trailer weight.

The boat is supreme v208 with is about 3600 lbs. Seems quite heavy for a 21 foot boat. Anyways, the trailer has double axle. What is a rough approximate weight on these trailers? Would you say 1200? So maybe the boat is 3650 + 1200 trailer + 400 gas/gear?

Thanks a lot
Jamie

I would have guessed around 1500 lbs. Or a good 5000 lbs for the whole package.

Jamie,

You hit it right on, 5K pounds. Thats what my boat weighs. I'm pulling it with a 1999 GMC 1/2 ton which has a 5K towing capacity. Seems to be all right but let me tell you that it is a big difference from towing my old boat which was 19 inboard outboard with a single axle trailer. I can really feel the Supreme back there! Can't wait to see how it tows over long distance this summer when I head out over a 300 mile trip with 85 degree heat!

Sandy,I pull my V212 with a 1/2 ton ford van with a v6 and it does alright.A little rough on steep grades and the mileage sucks but it still gets the job done.I took an 800 mile round trip with it last summer with no problems.

ok thanks sandy. Funny we both got the same v208 at almost the same time, and both our previous boats were 19' inboard outboards haha.
