Hey, I am going to be doing a wakeboard shoot wednesday and was curious for some tips you guys may have found. I am going to be using a D80 with a nikon 70-200mm VR and then a 50mm 1.8, and 20mm 2.8. Any help would be great as to shutter speed, aperture ect. Thanks!

Great advice from a great photog....

My advice, wait for good light, if shooting from the boat shoot around f4, have fun, watch your shutter speed and keep check on your iso. Shoot AV mode and keep your ss above 1/500.

Thanks for the help, you take some awesome shots.

do you think the 200mm lense will be alright? True length will be more like 300mm with the 1.6x

thanks.

if shooting from the boat you will shoot somewhere between 100-150mm to get the best perspective, so yes, the 200 will be more than enough from the boat or from a chase boat.....

Get a chase boat driver that knows how to drive.
