Any one had the problem of the trailer winch wheel being to close to the nose of your boat? I looked everywhere and I didn't see any solutions.

does your boat hit the winch when you drive on? that is way to close. maybe you could get a lower profile winch.

Turn it around and rewind the strap, the handle will be on the other side unless you can turn the handle around too.

I would try this first. It will not cost any thing and you can do it right now. The other ideas are good but will cost money and more time.

Have a welder extend the metal the winch is bolted to. get it closer toward the truck and your prob is solved.

Not the perfect perspective on the winch but you get the drift. Would be easy to do.
