http://www.wakeworld.com/getarticle.asp?articleid=1159 If you have not taken the time to read each caption I think you should. Marty that was THE BEST article I have ever read. you captured every moment perfectly and described each picture to the point I felt like I was htere with you. You and I as well as many others have been involved in the industry for many years. But my friend have gotton the chance we all dream about. I look back foundly of my talks with Herb and Paul about Radar and always wished they would invite me. Thank you for taking me with you!!!!!! Dave pat on the back for posting this. ITCH

went to Radar last June to visit my boy Grant (northern US Ronix Rep) to hang and ride the new gear. That article hit it on the spot! I just wished I would have taken the pics you did. I was too busy in heaven behind the green 226 Nauti that they had in the water. Nice post! Keith

Awesome article and some great people to hang out with! I have met Brian before (great guy) and have worked and rode with Grant many times. Never a dull moment when hanging, riding, or working with him. (Message edited by goinbigg17 on May 24, 2007)

What a great way to tell a story about a trip you have taken. Pictures were great to look at and get info from. Never seen the lake except in the video's.

Very well written essay even though the pictures go a long way in telling the story. We should all be so lucky to get to wake up with that as your backyard every day.

All of the pictures and captions made me feel as if I was there... if I ever have the chance I would kill to do so, that place looks like the MECCA of wakeboard as we know it, amazing... Once again, awesome pictures, its not often I see pictures like that where I just feel energy coming from them, amazing photo essay

I worked for a company when I was younger called Radar Electric, in Spokane Washington. The owners (I forgot their names) had the company picnic at Radar lake in 1994 (give or take a year or two). I think at the time, they owned it and Herb bought it back from them later on. I've always been curious about that, any info on this??

Steve, Small world, I moved to Spokane in 89 to go to school at ITT for electronics. I used to frequent Radar Electric quite a bit, back then. Later, jjakober

Herb O'Brien built the lake awhile back (1970's maybe???? Anyone know?). The O'Briens sold the lake due to financial reasons related to a family member's absence, but they repurchased the property (good move) when all was well again.

If you want to see Radar Lake from the air, check out http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=47.729914~-122.022035&style=a&lvl=15&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=3725677&encType=1 You can also use Google Earth, but that requires the app to be installed, whereas the Local.Live version uses the browser.
