How is it that this ass clown was possibly the president of the USA?

How is it the president we have is the president of the USA?

He followed a boob of boobs. The country was starved for intellect and charisma. And, his competition failed miserably.

I'm not entirely sure why anyone is surprised that Edwards is a lying and cheating POS. Isn't that a pre-requisite for a politician?

Lizzy is spot on.

Who in their right mind thinks Palin belongs in the oval office. Yet poles show she's gaining support.

I am not fan of Palin but she is gaining support because Obama is such a ridiculous failure. His numbers after his first year in office are lowest in the history of the office. That is impressive.

Edwards is a complete douche and I believe a few on here actually used to pimp him... Paul Smith.. cough.. cough.. your wife is dying of cancer and this dirtball is out pounding some blond skank having fun babies?? Nice. What is he going to do when his wife finally is out of the picture? Head to Vegas and do 30 whores in 30 days? His wife has been dealt a tough card and may she make it through with the least amount of pain possible. Terrible deal for her and their kids.

Yep. Every word is true. I'd only add that the country was starved for leadership, too.

How does every thread become about the Obama failure. The title of thread is Edwards. A total dirtbag, but like Elizabeth said, it's a pre-requisit for celebrity or politician in this country.

The electorate knows the correct path. Look at the recent election is MASS. They elected a fiscal conservative and socially moderate republican into Ted Kennedy's seat! Now thats the republican party that I used to know and love!

I still like Obama even though he believes in big government while I absolutely do not. I feel that my fiscal side is suffering because the republicans largely suck. GBW was a dim fiscal LIBERAL, MCCAIN is a mavericky FOOL and PALIN is a total insult.

Because a lot of voting Americans are morons, ala George W. Bush.

Cliff, was "poles" with regard to Palin a Freudian slip?

"Scott Brown for Pres?"

No. Essentially, he ran a negative campaign. To the extent there were positive statements, they were just platitudes. While I agree with some of the platitudes, I want something more solid than nice-sounding words this time around.

Please ... no more young, smooth-talking, good-looking former state legislators running for president before they've completed even a single term in the U.S. Senate.

I would have to agree with that.
