really learn your board. figure out every curve and every aspect of it. start doing lip slides on the wake regular and switch and also get frontside boardslides. dont be afraid of the other wake either. then start getting your slides solid and then come out of them switch. if you get that down start popping into and out of them.

dont rush your self. board control is the most important thing. if you skip it progression will be slow and sloppy. hucking tricks will get you no where.
