Brid, there are a lot of factors when it comes to getting the best pop off of the wake. Head over to KneeboardWorld.com and read some articles there.

getting more people on the boat or getting a fatsak always helps get a bigger wake

I have an old HO 540 and can do a pile of flips and spins.... just load the line like you would on a wakeboard

I ride an old board. My problem is: do I have enough guts to load up the line enough to get enough pop? If I do, I get plenty of pop. The most pop I ever got was when I did an ole way outside the wake and then proceeded to jump the wake. What a terrible crash!
