Anyone running one of these new props yet?

I'm thinking of trying one on my '03 MC 230 Maristar. Looking for more holeshot and pulling power with a loaded boat.

I have been running one all year. I can't say enough good about it! Way better holeshot, lower rpm's, better gas.

Get one!

I've been running one for about 1 month on our '04 205V (wakeboard edition). I cannot say enough about it! It makes the boat launch out of the hole with about 1600lbs of ballast and 3-4 peeps...no lingering bow rise. It's performed great!

Here are some write-ups I did...

I noticed there are four different kinds that propellersonline.com offers. Which one did everyone get? What different does cup make? Does anyone know a site online that will explain how different pitches and prop diameters effect performance. I am going to get one, I just don't know which one to get.

Give OJ Props (Eric) a call and he'll answer your questions. www.ojprops.com .

GENERALLY: the lower the pitch #, the better the hole shot, higher RPM operating range, and possible top end speed loss.

Give Eric a call.

I thought I'd add my stamp of approval on the XMP. I put it on Saturday, and am extremely happy with it. I'm running 2400lbs ballast plus passengers and it jumps right out of the water and on plane.

I put it on mine yesterday and even though it wasn't insanely weighted yesterday (due to lack of people in the boat) we did notice a big difference with our standard ballast (~1800 lbs). We'll try it this weekend when we have 2200 lbs and 4-5 people and see how it does, but so far I am very impressed.

I love my xmp. I run the .110 cup on my malibu 23 with the 8.1. I have pushed 5000 lbs no problem.
