Got Some db690's on closeout and hooked them to head unit. Not impressed. I am not giving up on them but I feel they are underpowered with the head unit only. They are rated for 100 watts RMS per speaker. My question os I have an older Fosgate four channel the does like 65 watts RMS X 4. Would that be enough to get things going or should I just go ahead and get 100watt RMS X 4? Thanks in advance I thoguht maybe someone has had some experience with speakers or some similiar.

You can get a 2 channel amp and bridge them also. 125rms/channel will sound excellent.

Hook that old Fosgate in bridged mode and those Polks should scream.

Anybody that would like to help explain how to best wire these give it a whirl. I am not that inclined when it comes to electronics. More mechanical oriented. I have four speakers and a four channel amp. How do I run it in Bridge mode? Sorry to be such a newb in the speaker and amp dept.. But you guys seem to know a lot about it. Thanks for all of the help.

You can't run that amp bridged to 4 speakers. I think everyone thought you had one pair. Hook that amp up, they will sound 100% better than they do off the deck.

That's what I thought. I will give it a try and if not happy order me a 100 watt RMS X 4 for them. I have heard really good things baout Polk and have a hard time believing they would put out a bad sounding speaker. I think once I get them enough power they will liven up quite a bit. Thanks Again.
