Has anyone made any modifications to their drivers seats so that you can raise and lower the seat? Just like you can on your computer chair. I am looking into doing this as some times I want to sit higher when pulling a boarder and other times when I am cruising I like to sit lower in the boat.
you might want to look into the bass boat areas in online boating sides. They have adjustable pedastals that you may be able to use. Not sure if you can find one that will go low enough.
The easiest way would be to get one of those square white boat floats and sit on it when you are pulling a rider, then remove it when you are cruising. You can get those at Wally World prety cheap.
My new Super Air Nautique came with a drivers seat that has a built in booster seat. I don't use it (6' tall) but my 5'4" wife and 5'2" daughter really like it!
I don't know if you can see it, but I just built a big box out of 2x4's and carpeted it. Raised up the seat at good 12" I'm 6'5" and it was nice to have a high stable chair so that you could always see over the bow, even when taking off.
Check with your dealer about the optional booster seat for your boat. I have one in mine (02 Supreme also) that 'flips up' for higher seating, and folds down when not needed. Very solid and works great.
