Has anyone on this board ever tired or had any success setting up a volunteer wakeboarding program? What I've been trying to do over the course of this winter is set up a program for kids who don't have the opportunity to wakeboard to get out and give it a try. My plan was to work with an association like the YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, local park boards or the Boys and Girls club and set up a couple days a month where I would take a small group of kids out and teach them how to wakeboard. Totally free, all volunteer, my equipment, my gas, my time. I have totally hit a brick wall on trying to give people a free ride and am looking for some suggestions. I had a guy at the Boys and Girls club who was totally hyped on the idea, but we got shot down because their insurance would go up 4k. Wish I had the 4k to give um but I don't. Anyone know anyway to get around the insurance hassle of something like this? I'm covered on my end as long as I'm not charging everyone in my boat is covered under my policy. Anyone in MN interested in helping me set this up maybe if I had a larger group I could get somewhere faster? Anyone have any experience with any other volunteer stuff, is it always a huge pain?
