I am the captain of the Long Beach State Wakeboard team and our boat is a 2006 Pro V. the wake is good when you weight it right, great shape but the downside is that you need much more than factory ballast to get it to be huge. ours is up for sale too asking $25,000. shameless plug.

Quinn... I looked at Calabria quite a bit before buying my MB. My buddy has an '06 Pro V that I've spent some time in.

PROS: The best thing about Calabria is super wide beam and cab forward design makes for a huge interior. I also like how affordable they are.

CONS: The freeboard is very low. It's just a super shallow boat. That made me nervous with little kids. Ballast is also small.

As far as price. I would not pay $31,500 for an '05 Pro V. I looked at an '04 Pro V several months agao with similar hours that was priced around $25k. I seriously considered purchasing a brand new, leftover '07 Pro V2 for $32k (loaded with heater, tower speakers, sub, amps, racks, etc.) or had my choice of two leftover '08 Pro V's for $35k. If you are interested in details on these boats, I think they are still available. Send me a PM... you wouldn't have to drive too far.

I agree with ixfe for 31.9 you can probably get a brand new left over 07' or even 08' ski boat. I've been eyeballing a 07 V230 in Tracy Ca new for only 30.9 just torn between the V215 or V230
