I am looking for a new vest this year. I've been riding with a non approved vest, but have really been wanting something CGA. While riding with a buddy of mine the other day I picked up his O'neill "Mental" vest. It was as light and non bulky as my non approved vest, yet it is CGA.

Today I did a little searching for this vest on-line and was blown away at how much these babies cost. They range from $150-$160!!! It seems like a great vest, yet you never really hear about it on the message boards. When it comes to O'neill vests, it's usually "The Law" that people mention. I was just curious to see if anyone else rides with the "Mental" and what you think about it.

thats because they are too dang expensive. sorry but there is no way i am paying 150 for a vest. I will either deal with the bloat of CGA or wear NCGA.

I love O'Neill's boardshorts. Don't like their vests.

Richard,
I have the Law Oneill vest and really like it. Comfortable and flexible.

The Law is the vest Byerly is always sporting in the mags. Thats not why I bought it.

I bought 13 O'neill vest from a rep. O'neill's is located in Santa Cruz, Ca. and that is where I live, so I would have to say I got a pretty good deal.

I have 3 new with tags that I may be selling soon. Womens size 8 Law, large Law and X-large Law. All 06 models with the black on top and red on the bottom. I bought extra, cause a friend wanted me to hook him up for his new boat as well, but bought cheap ones at Costco before my order came in. Let me know if you are interested in them, my neighbor said he might want to buy them from me, but if not I will sell them soon. $129.99 retail will sell all 3 for $253.49 thats 35% off that pretty close to what I paid for them. Thats $136.48 off retail.
$10 to $15 for shipping for all three.

Let me know,
Brannon
