Honestly, you can't confuse the performance of the Bazooka with a WetSounds. However, the Bazooka does have some benefits beyond the lower price. *In an open-field environment surface area is a big difference maker and the Bazooka has an 8-inch driver. *The Bazooka uses a bass reflex enclosure. The tuning frequency is very high. But, when crossed over at 100 to 120 HZ the illusion of bass off the tower is impressive. *This speaker is very easy to drive so you can use it with moderate power (an honest 75 to 100 watts per channel) and get good results. This fact adds to the speaker's cost effectiveness. Along these same lines, in a week I'll post some specifics on the new Bullet Speakers 7.7-inch tower coaxials (non-HLCD). David Earmark Marine
