I hate to double post this but I accidentally posted in the wrong section first.

I have an Alpine Type E 12" Sub, and I am running it with a Kicker DX-350 Amp. The amp I have had for a while and had it hooked up to 2 RF Punch 10"s in my Jeep, and it hit pretty good for a small amp. I decided to build a box in the boat and put a new 12 in it.

When I hooked the amp up and got everything in place, I powered it up but had no bass. I fiddled, and tried everything in my power to get that speaker to blast but nothing. I get some sound out of it but barely enough to tell it is moving, only by touching it can you tell it is moving. I have he gain up and the bass up on my deck and still cant get it to put any true sub bass out.

What do I do???? The sub is new, the headunit is new, how do I test an amp to see if it is good, and how would I go about fixing it?

Could I still get sound out of the sub if my amp was blown? and when I turn my remote gain down, there is less sound coming from it, so that part has to be working.
