We just could not resist playing hooky on Monday (03/12) and running off to Lake Perris for the day.

The weather was burning in the high 80's and the water was chilling as smooth as ice.

No fancy riding...just fantastic smiling!

And not another boat in sight!!!

And, a lakeside view of the Windy Ridge fire just over the mountains.

Just thought you'd poke your head in for a minute in between trips? Always nice to see one of the originals pay a visit every now and again.

Looks like a great day on the water.

Cliff

Glad to be remembered.

And, as us West-Coasters can boast about...we left the surf in Huntington Beach this morning and in two hours we were snowboarding/skiing under sunny, 50 degree skies - just 48 hours after wakeboarding!...yep, it's good to be queen!

You should have the right weather for your weekend excursion, which means, so will many of the others wakeboarding as well.

Daniel
Part of our not doing anything fancy was our total lack of want to be submerged. The water was a tad chilly compared to the toasty air.

Marty

Nice Knee-jewelry you are wearing in your profile pic. What a pair of weather-indicators you have (I can say that as Marty and I share quite a few knee surgeries between us).

I do not think I will ever get over that warm chill that radiates through my body when I see flat, glassy and unoccupied water.
