So I have two amps, I was wondering how do you connect the remote wire from the head unit to both amps since the HU only has one remote output, do you just splice the wires to both amps?

If the amp has an output you can link the hu to one amp and link that amp to the second amp via the output on the first, I THINK.

Splice into the wire or daisy chain from one amp to the other

KG has it correct.

If the amps start to clip out or cut out at volume you may think about running a relay so the amps will get a "better" 12+ volt turn on source.
