i just started boarding this year cant quit love it im using a 2002 belmont and love it. does a newer board make alot of difference? im also using a boat without a tower how much does that matter as well? all comments appreciated thanks

I'm riding basically the same board and toyed with demoing and switching to a Marek, but have put that on the back burner.

I like my murray (and murrays) and have little motivation to switch. If you get out Detention 2012, you'll see Shaun Murray riding most of his past boards at one point or another. So, he still rides the shape, and very well.

So yeah, your attention might be better spent getting a tower or high pole than fretting over your board. Oh, and I advise Detention 2012 too. Not only will you learn a lot but you'll also like your board better when you see Shaun Murray throwing tricks on it.
