IMO:

Backroll is easiest to learn.
Once learned, tantrum is easiest to throw.

Backroll and front roll for sure, but the tantrum looks a lot better when it is layed out.

Awesome cheers guys, I was leaning towards the Backroll, I have a little trick that I picked up from my local shop to force me to put my shoulders into it.

The rotation of the backroll was a little easier for me than the tantrum once I got over my fear of going up side down, but I kept losing the handle or slipping out on the landings. Overall, I would say the tantrum was the easiest to learn for me.

Jeff, picture yourself on a trampoline, a Tuck roll is when you just striaght up and tuck your knee's to your chest, the momentum of your knee's flips you. A layout roll is when you use your shoulders and head to flip, as you jump up throw your shoulders and head back and leave your legs straight. You need to pay more attention to 'The Book' because that come straight off of it.

A backroll is where the rotation is sideways, a tantrum rotates backwards. So if your jumping straight up and down on the trampoline a Tantrum would make you do a backflip, a Backroll would make you do a sideflip.

Throw all 3 and which ever one you come closest to landing will become the easiest in your personal opinion.

that is a layed out tantrum and a tucked would be when your knees are bent and pulled close to the body.

Tantrum gets my vote for the easiest, the sidways rotation on a heelside backroll screws me up for some reason, I don't experience the same frustration with the toeside backroll, still haven't stuck it though.Weird.
