Kyle, to define Jacob as being better than his brother is a little whack. I'm pretty sure the Ed is pretty proud of his riding and the direction he decided to take it. Ed rides bigger and more stylish, basically I chalk it up to a Shane/Parks comparison, some think one or the other is better, when really they are just completely different riders and do their own thing well.

Why ask that question? Because I am curious...the same reason why you ask any question. Did I take anything away from either of them, no i didn't. Is it wrong for me to say Jakob is better than Eddie? No its not. It is no different that Serena being better than Venus. Does anything on a message board really impact me? No. Does my post impact you? No. If you don't want to answer my question than don't, but there is no reason for giving me sh#t for asking a legit question.

Thanks so much for all your kind words, most that have posted in one way or another have helped my boys and it is so appreciated!! Hey Kyle, I guess peoples taste in riding is subjective. And there have been points in time that the statement was accurate. Check out this video of Eddie http://alliancewake.com/video_details.php?id=3997&page=2 Eddie and Jacobs style of riding is so completely different but I believe paralleled. Both great riders, but completely different. Eddie is riding better than I have ever seen him ride.It is truly beautiful to watch. Your statement about jake being better than eddie? Its all in who you ask. Eddie has been instrumental in jacobs success as a rider and now they are pushing eachother! Jacob right now is completely absorbed in water polo, and being a freshman in high school, (sniff sniff, our little brown trout is growing up!!) ps and WOW, a kevin bird sighting!! kevin, it has been forever!!! Okay, here's the scoop:
Jacob is better at trash talking than Eddie. Eddie, however, has a lock on Jake when it comes to bowling. I think Jake might have passed up Eddie at skateboarding. (He has really been progressing as of late.) Nevertheless, I can personally vouch that Eddie has been pullin' more phone numbers lately if you know what I'm sayin'. Don't worry about it Jake. You are a young thoroughbred race horse that hasn't even reached his prime yet, haha. Does this help sum up who is better?
In all seriousness, wakeboarding is a sport subject to personal bias. Having had the privelage of spending a lot (almost too much) time with Eddie and Jake, it has become evident that they have both progressed more in the past year than ever before. I get stoked when I see Jake stomp his pass. Then, I get a different, but equal, kind of stoke when I watch Eddie ride. Both are so much fun to watch.
Oh ya, nice vid Jake.
