I've got a 2004 Mobius LSV with the single bag Bertha Ballast. The single bag is in the ski locker and is supposed to hold something like 300lbs. For the first two years, the bag filled flawlessly. However, starting last year, the bag seems to get a lot of air during filling (seems like a third of the bag is air. We've tried everything to fix this and the dealer has checked it out, but we still get a lot of air. A simple fix would be if the bag had a burp valve, but it only has a single connector from the pump. I was wondering if anyone had replaced the standard bag with a larger bag that has a burp valve? We really need more weight in the ski locker because we have 540lb bags that go alongside the engine in the storage compartments (filled manually). I want a bag that has the same fitting for the pump, but is larger and has a burp valve. Any suggestions????

When does the bag fill with air? When it is in tow? I quick fix would be just to diconnect the fill hose while trailering. Once you get on the water and need to fill just hook it back up and pump away. There should be no way to get the air in this way.

I've never seen a bag with just one "hole" in it. Have you pulled the bag out to see if there is another "hole"somewhere

Our 03 LSV has two holes in the bag one for filling and one for to empty but no burp valve. We have had the same issue and a few times a summer just take one of the hoses off and get the air out.
