I am hooking up with my mate this weekend to surf his 06 220 team. What are the recommendations for how much extra ballast we should run? We don't need a shoulder high wake, but a nice clean one would be nice. Usually I surf backside (starboard) behind my old school 1980 ski nautique, so frontside on the 220 is going to be tops......

My girlfriend's brother has an '07 SAN 220 TE and I want to surf behind it. I don't know how to weight it yet, but I guess we'll load up the boat with a bunch of people and fill the belly tank and the starboard tank (I'm goofyfoot). Then we'll have two guys hang on to the outer side of the tower on the starboard side to achieve more cant and finetune the wave this way. That's the way we did it on his '06 SAN 210 TE and it worked great. The 220 is said to have a killer surf wave...
