I want to find a new spot. Here is the deal I live on Clearlake and would like to visit another lake that has ammenities like Konocti or Worldmark or Ferndale -

I want to find another lake with a Hotel on the water - stores, bars, resturants either close by or on the water - I prefer being able to boat into a resturant or bar, locally there are about 10 resturants on the water and its nice to go out for a set and just pull in for lunch and go back out - let me know what you guys think ~

Bass Lake / Pines Resort

Basslake.com

Small lake, very crowded in the summer. I would go in the Spring, personally.

There aren't too many lakes with the amenities that we have on Clearlake. Bullards is my favorite lake but there isn't anything there besides a Marina & campgrounds. Not sure there is much on the shores of Shasta. Quite a few marinas. I've houseboated there a couple of times, that's it.
It definitely is nice to get out early & ride. Then go get brunch @ Konocti, or burgers @ Richmond park, or Mexican @ TnT's when everyone else gets on the lake.
Looks like your in the Riviera, huh?

No I am on the northshore end of the lake - you know the smooth side

- is there a lake front hotel on Shasta with slips and a place to eat without loading everybody in the truck and going somewhere?
