Grant- or anybody else who has installed a new alternator on an air nautique...what size foot does the alternator have 1", 2", 3"???

I called the battery shack to order a new High output alternator for my PCM GT40 in my nautique and the gentleman said that the ford motor has various size feet on different motors and that I need to know which size I need. My boat is at my house and I am at work, so I cannot check, can anyone help me out with the information?

Thanks

Rich: I dont know; When I got the new alternator. I took a photo of the Motor and set it to bill(battery shack) he was able to see the foot from the photo and get me the right one. If you need a photo let me know. I can take one for ya.

I guess I could try that...He asked me today if it was a serpentine or a V belt setup and how many valleys are on the pulley (I think I only have to know the valleys if it is serpentine though) And I didn't know???I don't look at it that much, I guess.

I still haven't decided if I should go with a 100 or 150 amp alternator???

Hey thanks Grant- I think I got it taken care of now. I went with the 150 and CC said it was a 2" foot. I hope they are right.
