Here's my problem. It feels like I'm getting pretty good pop, but I can't make it all the way wake to wake. I seem to either make it pretty high(about 5-6' high) and land 2/3 the way across or I go farther (3/4 the way wake to wake) with much less air. How can I get the right air and still make it wake to wake. I'm doing everything I feel is correct. Cutting into the wake pretty hard and standing up from a seated position when I hit the wake with out flattening out my board. What suggestions do you guys have???? THANKS!

hold your edge a little longer through the wake, and stand tall at the peek.

and as grant said, speed/rope length?

speed is usually between 18-20mph rope is 75feet I believe. I seem to think the rope is too long. maybe it's just in my head.

That is too long of a rope for 18-20 mph. Shorten the rope to 65-70.

ya you might want to pull the rope in to about 70 or 65 and keep it in the 20's

Also you could speed up a little like to 22. if you see the wake folding over then you know your going too slow. try speeding up and if you feel like your going to fast or your not in control then slow down again, but sometimes speeding up gives you the confidence you need to clear the wake

shortened the rope to 65 feet and sped up to 20mph (which seems to give me the best wake on my boat) and I cleared it pretty easily! THANKS GUYS! Now on to more tricks!

Good job...just make sure you don't become a heelside hero. When I was learning and got my first W2W, I was so pumped that I just kept doing that over and over again...but I never bothered toeside or switch because I couldn't clear the wake that way. Eventually, I had to go back to the beginning with those aspect and let's just say it's easier to learn it all at the same time instead of taking remedial sets to become more balanced.

I worked a lot yesterday on toe side also once I started landing W2W consistently. Switch will probably start in the next two weeks. I want to land the toe W2W first!
