anyone ever transfer from board to swim platform?

I was just curious because I've never seen anyone do it (probably not the safest thing), but I've done it twice now. At the end of my run I'm ready to quit, just gain a lot of speed and step from my board onto the swim platform. Pretty fun!

We do that, and a teak-start, during the winter months to avoid the cool water.

We pull back the throttle completly and surf right up to the transom(port side) and sit down on the back deck. ( we ride goofy on the port side). works great, I will post video of this when I can.

Yeah i start and finish on the swim deck everytime.

Depends on the boat owner and if he cares if you put a nick in the transom. So I haven't done it yet. Probably won't ever since we're usually getting out there to try new stuff or work on things meaning we are going to get wet ALOT.

we dont hit the transom, we ride up the side of the boat and just sit down on the back deck (not the swim step) with the board still under our feet. We do this maybe 10% of the time. We also get wet alot trying new tricks.LOL

I have done it many times. Fun stuff especially if the spectators don't know it is coming. Can't do it in front of the rangers though. Out here you can't even be on the transom sun pad with the boat in motion or you can get a ticket.

Darn coppers, yea I have been warned also that we cant have anyone on the sun pad even if we are just idleing, engine must be off. Anyway cops are gone on my lake, they only come out on weekends from Mem. day to Labor day.
