I've jumped high enough to look down on the pylon. I'd say my board was... eh 7 feet up or so. Big ol stylish indy w2w right in front of another boat of people, and landed it perfectly smooth down the other wake.

That pic has been posted and discussed before. The perspective from which it is shot makes it look like he is much higher compared to the boat. For evidence of another aspect of the illusion, notice that the rider appears almost as large as the boat, which obviously cannot be true. Not to detract from the rider's ability, because those guys sho-nuff get big air, but he is not really four times higher than the boat. It's an illusion based on the camera angle.

I've popped high enough to see the carpet... However, I'm 6'2"... I'm almost able to see inside the boat when I jump wake-to-wake.

one time i hit the double up well on like the 2nd wave and I went sooo high i was looking down at the tower i felt like i was in slow motion it was awesome
