2006 x2 Tower problem

I lowered the tower on my new boat. The two arms that should fold into the bow do not lay down the same. they are about 4 inches off. one is inthe placse the sales person said. the other is on top of the fiber glass top rail. i emailed picts to the dealership who fwd them to mc. the say the need to shim one side. the tower looks bent to me. this is bs for the $$$$$$$$$$ it cost. any advice?

but if the tower goes up alright, i doubt that it is bent. This is strange though.
