I had heard about this boat and seen a few pictures but it is now officially on the MB website. Looks like a lot of boat in a 21' package...

True, but with that PCM Excalibur engine it should last close to 20 hrs. Most families would only have to fill up a few times a summer. Or you can keep it full and your have another 500lbs of ballast,

i'll take the bigger gas tank all day. less fill ups, more ballast. Saw the same pics you did Alan, I think it looks sweet.

I also heard that it fits in a 7' garage door. That would be cool too.

So is the beam on this boat wider? I thought the great wakeboard boats like the SAN 210, X-Star, and the Sanger V210 were so great because they had small beams and were easy to sink. Won't this boat require more weight than average? Just curious what everyone's thoughts were...

Sam, you are correct in your thinking. Generaly speaking, wider beam = more weight to achieve a decent wake...

For most wide boats that is true. The wake is RAD on the new 21Tomcat and the Widebody B52. I believe it is so good because of the depth and shape of the hull. If you can get a chance ride behind one!
