This boat will be amazing. Similar size to a G23 or X24. If you have ever seen Sanger glass, rigging and quality in person you will be sold. They are built like tanks and have some of the best gel and glass in the industry. All glass construction, Gator Step, surf system with quick switch. Can't wait to go out in one of these!
Since this was one of the first out of the mold it was just white so they threw some (not my taste) vinyl graphics on it. Of course it will be offered in the same great schemes that are available on current models.

Seems like all the new boats are ugly ..lol. Sanger had to ugly it up to compete I guess .hahaha
Definitely not the normal Sanger boat but they do have to change with the times to stay in the game . Curious if they are able to make it handle well and Surf . Seems like you cant have both anymore.

These should sell well...
Like the extra capability but not going to give up our V215 anytime soon, and with Sanger build quality there is no reason for that!!!
Well done Sanger

Tower looks like it wouldn’t pull up a 7 year old without breaking

Eeeesh. I'm a big Sanger fan, but man this thing looks like the Dollar Store version of other boats in its class.

I think if the tower had the bimini, speakers and tower racks it would show much better. I hardly see any New Sangers on the lake any more. It would be good to see them make their place in todays market.

The interior is terrible I’m not sure who designed that layout, but it’s terrible on the smaller version and worse yet in this boat

just went and looked at the pics of the 212 for interior reference and remember that boat coming out. not sure I would like that observers seat. could grow on me but goofy for sure. bow cupholders seems like they are in a wierd place. you can't really lounge next to them due to the speakers so you lounge against the driver/observers area and now they are not reachable.
battery location seems convenient but not sure I would want them next to the fuel tank, in the way of the vdriver/tranny fill points and looks like they are somewhat in the bilge(and that boy in the first pic looks completely bored leaning on the sundeck in the corner).
on a related note, went to the website and see that the 237 still has that horrid rear seat hanging over the swim deck. that thing made it hard as hell to get back into the boat after a surf set on the boat I was on back in '12.

The ad is for a 237 but the pictures are clearly of a 212sl. I was hoping it would be the interior shots of the new 23ft model.

Sanger released more specs and pictures today. 5200lbs standard ballast, switchable surf system, mid $90k. It said taking orders and shipping boats this week.

I don’t think I’d call that clearly anything but a cluster of an ad then..
. anywhoo interior layout is garbage... that’s not the innovation anyone is looking for imo but maybe their fan base will love it. I don’t think it’s going to be pulling anyone away from something normal and roomier. Cool you took up two seats in the boat to make one crappy one.

are those the new kicker hlcds on the tower? Aside from the funky observer's seat (why?), I don't hate it. Would love to see the dash.

Who every thought lets take away the most comfortable seat on the boat. Which is the observer's seat and give it NO leg room to stretch out. Was a idiot.
Other than that it looks good.

Seating does suck big time. Sanger Logo on the side is way too small and too far back in my opinion. Plus I know that browns and baby poop brown is in, but it doesn't look good on that boat. I am a fan of Sanger I know they make a solid boat. Hopefully they do good with this boat and it brings their sales up.

If Sanger is listennig @sangerboatsinc mid cycle refresh without the awkward observer seat and proof of the solid wave Sangers can put out (check out my pics in the affordable boat thread, 2010 V210) and I think they can best Moomba, Axis and compete with Supreme for the entry level market. Their quality throughout is on par with Nautique/Correct Craft.
Just my .02

Unless they vastly increase their production, I don't think the competitors you mention are going to have a lot to worry about from Sanger in that market any time soon

Yea my 5 year old couldn’t sit comfortably in that observers seat.
And I sure hope that rear deck lifts up higher than that. I can’t imagine having to perform any maintenance in that engine compartment without removing the entire thing if not
