Rained for the first time yesterday my power was out for like 3 hours !!!! Sucks man I officialy can't wakeboard at alllllll know !!!...

The first day I owned my boat, had to take it out but it was raining. Had to go anyway. Found out the boat and I both are waterproof.

BTW - Those of us here in rain-deprived California are more than happy for the rain!! The lakes are starting to look like the desert!!!!

hahahhhaha very true Buzz we need water bad especially on Shasta man the thing as went from like 300 feet deep to like 75 feet deep...that ludacris...and no not afraid of getting wet afraid of wakebaoridng and getting super super super super cold..

i find drysuits very depressing :-(

and when you bring them out you know its the end of the season for most of us up north.

On a positve note, Tahoe is expected 2 feet of snow this week. It's not so bad.

raindrops aren't as bad as getting pelted by hail when your snowboarding and cleaning your goggles every 30 seconds.

I usually use my drysuit in the beginning of the year before the summer when you can't wait to get out there and wakeboard. It's not as much fun to use it after the summer is over plus I wakeboarded plenty of times this year so now that its getting colder im looking forward to a good year of snowboarding.

lucky tahoe, i don't expect any snow here on the east coast until thanksgiving.

Rain sucks, but down here in SoCAl we need it bad. All of our lakes are at record lows. Not to mention we need to get Lake Powell and Lake Mead filled back up. Thats number #1 priority.

Boy, you said it Erik. Lake Piru is like half the size of what it was two years ago. And our houseboat trip to Lake Powell next year is in danger of being cancelled. I heard the water is 75 feet below some of the launch ramps. How do you lose 75 *feet* of water?? I've never been there before and we've been on that wait list for this whole year now.

Mike you will be fine at Powell. The water is still 250' deep in most channels. As the water level lowers they are paving down the Launch Ramps. When we were there in August there was about 100' of new ramp and about 75' of dirt,crushedstone still to the water. when we went back 3 weeks later they layed down another 100' of concrete to the water. The water level has actually started to rise a little out there . Not much but like a inch a week, and through out the winter it will rise a few feet. Keep your plans to go because you will be allright. Good luck

i don't know about you guys..but sometimes i LOVE riding in the rain. its just fun to have calm water and glide out on the flats and just feel the water with your hands and have the rain sprinkling down on you. its so much fun! and plus, usually you have the place to yourself caues nobody else wants to ride in it.

I too love to ride in the rain. Some of my favorite times on the water have been when it was raining. I have to admit though it is alot more pleasant if there is bimini top for drivers and the others in the boat.

One one hand, the rain is great! We need it. On the other hand, one of my regular crew (F) is trying to bail on boarding with me this weekend, in favor of 48 inches of powder at Mammoth. She asked me to go, but I want to try out my brand new Parks board (oh yea, and I have to work too). Tough decisions! Wonder what my GF would say? Bet I know!!
