So lets see your garage and how you organize stuff. We are gonna re-do our garage and clean it up so we have more room to build stuff and work on stuff. Post some pics of your garage! gimmie some ideas

I cant upload mine even when I export theM to desktop in low(smallest) they are too big.

Don't really have any current pics, but here are a few over the last few years. 1st pic is the outside about a year ago, second is right after I built it (lot has changed since then), and the last is a few weeks ago.

The shop is a 36X60. Scissor trusses in the back so I can add a hydraulic lift, standard 10' ceiling in the first part. I do mostly car audio, security, remote start, and build police cars in there. I'll be installing 7/16" OSB for a ceiling in the next few weeks.

Baja Outlaw and an SSV...adopt me.
Old     (jonyb)      Join Date: Nov 2008       01-25-2009, 11:28 PM Reply
Outlaw's gone. I realized there was more to boating then getting there in a couple minutes, hanging out in the same spot all day, then flying back to the lakehouse.....

I always wanted a Baja or Fountain growing up. They sound awesome and haul ass, but other than that they are pointless boats. Glad I went the inboard direction instead, now I will never buy anything else.

That's what I'm saying now.... All my old boating buddies don't quite understand it yet, but they're coming around. The wakeboat scene is still new in my area. You're absolutely right though, powerboats are pointless. That 25' Outlaw would carry 4 people and they'd all be cramped. The Supra is 1' shorter and can carry 16 comfortably.

you are my hero. nice truck(S??), great boat, awesome shop.

What were you running in that Outlaw? 496HO, 525? I am guessing whatever it was you had a bravo 1 right? I good buddy of my roommate has a 36 nortech cat with twin blown 900's. I guess it does something like 135 or so. I need to get out on it. I do agree with you that wakeboats are much more usable but if you can swing both it must be fun.

Hey that is a sick shop, nice truck nice boat man we have an Donzi x-18 with a 350 and a Donzi 22' classic blackhawk with a 502. Its a whole other love for boating its so much fun nothing beats haullin a$$ on glass in the mornings.

Dave thats nuts how you fit two boats and a trailer in there, Ill try and upload pics of our garage but we can barely fit 2 cars and 7 dirtbikes and its supposed to fit 3 cars we have so much rap in there.

Dave could I have one of those boats?haha....looking good guys!

Dennis, you'd have to talk my buddy out of the gray and white one. I'm letting him store it over the winter.

Twitch, the ass-end of the boat fits under the cab-over part of the camper. The swing tongue on the trailer gives me about three feet in front to get around it with the door down.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I decided to build the garage a few years back after realizing how much money our toys cost. I wasn't going to be storing them outside.

Yeah that is a great looking garage Dave....

Brett Yates I don't have both, the Baja was just in some old pics. It was an 05 25' with the 496 Mag. Would've been better with a 525 or even the HO, but that wasn't a big concern. We got a great deal on that one so it worked out. It's funny you mention that Nortech with 900's. There was a white/red striped one here with Dean Gellner 900's for a short time. I rode in it once but only was about 100. Motors were still new and this guy has a lot of respect for his boats.

G, that is a disco ball.... I've still gotta hook up the spinner to it and strobe light it. We've got another one at our camper too My wife was a manager at a local Limited Express store and when it closed we had to clean the place out.

I snapped a few more pics tonight. My truck and wife's E are in there tonight because I'm working on a fox-body Mustang for the Sheriff's department in the front where our cars normally stay. Too damn cold out there to do work.

My friends 06 SRT-10

at my parents house we have a 30*40 12 foot door barn with a 15*40 extension on the left and a 25*40 extension on the right. at the other house across town we have a 60*100 shop with 2 12foot high and wide doors. the bigger shop will fit 23 boat in it. we do indoor winter storage for our customers. its real nice to have. I'll try to get some pics if i have time in the next couple days.

Twitch,

If you don't mind spending bout $4 or $5 a piece and don't want to make your racks, go down to Lowe's and buy the bicycle racks they have there. They work great! Two screws and you're in business. Look real nice too.

Good lord...I am in the wrong profession! I knew I should have gone to med school.

Seriously, those are all some really nice garages! I am really OCD and would love to have the space like that. Hopefully this year I am going to build a guest house and probably throw a garage bay on it, so I can tighten up my garage. It's amazing how small a 3 car garage gets year after year.
Old     (themxercr85)      Join Date: Jul 2007       01-27-2009, 11:54 AM Reply
Yeah seriously thats a three car garage and when we have our 7 mx bikes in there its impossible to even move around. We gave up on keeping our saleen in there we just dont have the space. If you look above that chevy its a lift that holds our old lotus elan on the lift and to the left and right of it is our 2 Sea-Doo's.

Right click the photo and select "edit > w/ MS Paint". From the menu bar, select "image > resize/skew" and adjust accordingly.

or you can export them from iphoto for mac and photos from windows and it should ask you what size you want to export at, at
least for macs it does that.

I wanted mine taller, but at teh time a Baja would fit perfectly through the 9' door. Wish I'd have known about wakeboats....

John! You outta post those pics on GMFS. Your garage is SIIIICK.

I have room at my house to do some sort of garage but I'm afraid it'll take away from the house. I don't have the boat anymore, but its still fun to look at these posts.

Here is my garage- the door openings were regularly 9wide x 8high, I got sick and tired of taking off the guide poles and putting the tower down each time to put it away, and it was so tight I bent the wake racks twice and dented the fender well on the trailer. We had a couple slow days at work so I had one of my crews come over for a couple days and raise the roof and widen the one side. Now its 11high x 12wide. Its awesome, well worth it,IMO.Upload

Seems that a majority of the guys posting in this thread have Skier's Choice products. I guess thats because you were able to get a hell of a boat and still have cash left over for the garage. HAHA
