I've got one without a cover and haven't had any problems with it over the past year. I've had it in the rear locker as well as behind the motorbox with people sitting on it. It seems pretty durable.

Check out www.letsgoride.com.

Their sacks are custom made to order and are constructed of a material like a rubber zodiac raft. Coverless and very durable.

Exactly, what ty said!

LGR are a lot tougher and cheaper than other sacs!

Had both types! Next sac will be a LGR!

STill saving up for a dry suit.

Hey James, I see you've got your priorities straight. PP before health, ie. #1 PP=(wife happy) #2 (DRY suit)=(no pneumonia)

BTW, just got remaining parts for ballast system. Holes going in soon.

Where do you get a custom locker sac? I need one for a 2000 MC 205 DD. Have not seen one 78" +/-. Any leads are appreciated!

James,

Love the FourWinns.

I had the Horizon 170 OB...great boat. On payment days, I wish I still had it!

james how much does that sac weight?
Old    jmccallum            06-12-2003, 6:49 AM Reply
about 650 lbs. I got another one that was wider the next year and I think it is 750+ but I haven't found the time to measure it. So I'm a little unsure.

On Letsgoride, should I get two 350's to go on either side of the engine in my V-drive and possibly the "stiffy" for the middle compartment?
Old     (typhoon)      Join Date: Jul 2001       06-16-2003, 7:55 AM Reply
I would do the two 350's in the rear and the 500 pounder for center floor. do you have a ski locker in the center of the floor. if so do a custom sac. i have a massive area in our floor and went with a 9x80x28 inch sac for about 700 pounds. it is awesome and huge.

I'm in a Toyota V-drive. I believe there's a compartment in the center of the floor, but i haven't explored it yet.
