A while back I had a thread asking how screwed I was due to milky oil .... turns out I was really screwed and cracked the block in our boat. Since then have gotten things repaired and put the boat back in the water last Thursday.

Friday I submitted a claim to Ski-Safe, since I paid for the "freeze protection", to cover the repair costs. I wasn't sure if they would honor it because I DIY my winterization, but today I got word its covered! Check is in the mail and covers all associated repair costs.

... figured it was worth sharing for anyone looking for a boat insurance company, the freeze protection is a nice little perk that I can now confirm is legit.

I remember the thread. Great news and I like that you shared the positive experience. Too often in these times, only the negative is reported.
