When do we find out that either the Mom or Dad was molesting the boy before this all happened? This isn't something normal kids do. It's often the result of trauma as a result of being sexually molested yourself.

Not sure about sexual abuse, by the situation itself is emotional abuse. Having 19 kids and broadcasting them to the world on tv is already pretty messed up. The older kids become surrogate parents raising the younger ones and clearly there isn't enough supervision or adult accountability.

Pearls of wisdom from the freak family's crazy homeschooling curriculum:

"If" the abused was not at fault - yeah it's probably his 5 year old sister's fault he couldn't stay out of her cooter. Jesus Fing Christ on a crutch.

I wonder if his now brother-in-laws are going to rightfully stone him to death for deflowering their brides before the wedding.

Another sick twist is that TLC has "stopped airing the show" but has not officially cancelled it. That just shows the depravity of these TV networks that they wouldn't immediately cancel and cut all ties to an admitted sexual predator and child molester. They looks like a collection of mutant cult members.

Creepy SuperJesusSoldier dad thought it was a good idea not to involve the police (might hurt the TV revenue after all) and instead turned his son over to a close state trooper friend for "6 months hard labor" - does that cure the gays too? Guess what that close Christian trooper pal is up to now... serving 50+ years for kiddie porn. Hallelujah.

Soooo...he was 15 at the reported incident and the girls were just listed as "underage". So any kid that screws around or had any sexual contact before the age of 18 is now labeled as a child molester? What am I missing?

Sounds like you're missing a lot. Just the fact that you'd use the word "incident" when this was 2 years (his age 14-16) of continued abuse of at least 5 girls, including the 4 of his sisters who were alive at that point, the youngest of which being 5 friggin years old.

I'm not sure what planet you're from, but I'm not cool with my son or any other person molesting my 5 year old girl. Call me crazy. But JimBob prayed on it and decided the best thing to do was send his son off for a stern talking to from his buddy now serving for kiddie porn. God sure works in mysterious ways.

Equally pathetic is the fact that the Arkansas statue of limitations on such abuse is 3 freakin years. Makes it pretty clear where the priorities are there.

This all reminds me of the classic "Arkansas Love Poem":

Susie Lee done fell in love,
She planned to marry Joe.
She was so happy 'bout it all,
She told her Pappy so.
Pappy told her, "Susie Gal,
You'll have to find another.
I'd just as soon yo' maw don't know,
But Joe is yo' half-brother."

So Susie put aside her Joe,
And planned to marry Will.
But, after telling Pappy this,
He said, "There's trouble still.

You cain't marry Will, my gal,
And please don't tell yo' mother,
But Will and Joe and several mo'
I know is yo' half-brother."

But Mama knew and said "My Child,
Just do what makes yo' happy.
Marry Will or marry Joe,
... you ain't no kin to Pappy."

In his 2002 campaign, JimBobFreakshow actually said that incest should be punishable by death. Guess later that year when his son got in his daughters' cooters he decided all that morality stuff was for other people's kids, not his own.

This isn't the first time [Montel] Williams has spoken out against the Duggars. In tweets on May 21, the talk show host ripped Josh Duggar as a "world class bigot" and "slimebag."

"Whole family is," he wrote at the time. "Gay people are the danger to kids? NOPE, JOSH DUGGAR IS."

Why are these cult members on TV?

Oh.. That's right - LCD.

From everything I've read, the Duggars handled this just about as badly as any family possibly could. Which isn't entirely surprising, considering their desire to stay on TV at what appears to be any cost. I'm left wondering what happened to Josh at an early age to make him head down that road... besides simply being neglected by two parents who couldn't possibly pay the proper attention to all of their offspring... or being asked to grow up much too quickly himself in order to help raise his many younger siblings.

I'm also left wondering how people can possibly defend their actions in this whole thing (then, and now) or have the gaul to suggest that they're being "attacked" because of their faith. Nonsense.

Rich you're right on. Add in a completely unsupervised environment (especially for the older sardines in the can), christian-extremist homeschooling which lacks even the slightest hint of sex ed, severe isolation from the world, and nothing but "side-hugs" and what do you get...

One of the leaders of the Family Research Council. Hmm.
