Riding in Dubai?

What lakes are in the dessert? It seems the pros get a lot of opportunity to travel to some pretty unique places. Dubai, Panama, Thailand, etc.

Considering the stuff that is being built there they most likely have a indoor wakeboarding park. Have you seen the stuff thats gone up in the last 10 years, it's insane. From flat desert to a metropolis over night. The latest thing I heard they were working on is a group of islands that they are making to look like the worlds contenents. There wasn't even an island there when they started. It was a shallow area they started to haul sand and dump it there. Crazy stuff
