nice pics walt, I have a friend that used to be awsome at bare footing also. I have never gotten him to do it for us. I would love to see someone in person do it.

How do you (or whoever is riding it) like the Militant. I have been looking at it the last few days and there aren't many reviews on the board here about it.

Great pics!! Especially the Raley! Great shot!!! The barefooter looks like fun to watch, but I don't think I will be trying that anytime soon.

Buzz,
I asked Barefoot Bob if he boards and he said no because the falls were to hard.

I found that funny coming from a guy that puts a handle over his head @ 45 MPH.

Walt, BTW where is lake Pillsbury located? I have never heard of it. Looks awsome and seems like all the pics are always butter.

It's about 45 minutes North East of Ukiah or Lake Mendocino.
Most people won't go there because you have to take a ten mile long dirt road to get there.

Squid, One from my dock and the other from Hull Mt.

Awesome pics Walt. Who are those riders?
Old    walt            09-05-2005, 8:40 PM Reply
Thats Chad Lowe doing all the spins.
I forgot the guys name doing the Raley (it might be Nate.. from northcoast board wear) ? He was with Chad.
The two other riders were locals out having fun and I got a few shots off when they went by.

As usual Walt your pics are perfect. Looking forward to meeting up sometime on the water I will have a cold one for ya. And will have a few questions on using the camera. Keep up the good work.

How is that camera for sequencing? The shots look great. I was thinking about saving up for the 20D, but it is just so damn expensive.
Old    walt            09-06-2005, 4:06 PM Reply
Scott, To be honest with you I don't really know ?
I was using it on continuous mode while shooting the barefoot shots and it seemed pretty fast to me but I don't know how it would compare to the 20D.

That Bob guy is crazy. Don't try this at home! lol

...driving a chase boat and shooting pics at the same time - impressive, but again don't try this at home...these are trained professionals on a closed course.
